Sobering News, Awesome Results

Okay Losers,

Before I submit the latest results that I have, I want to let all of you know that collectively as a group, we started out weighing a grand total of 2,619 pounds. Yes, losers, I kid you not. Thats almost a half a ton.

However, since first of the year and in only 15 days, we have as a group, with the exception of Chris. who has not submitted his results yet, but we as a group have lost in those 15 days,
a grand total of 45.5 POUNDS. You got it,

a total of 45.5 pounds. Is that awesome or what.

To add to the percentages,
Jason- 2 %
Janet- broke even
and like I said I don't have Chris's results in yet, however with his extemely busy schedule, we might make an exception for him ever so slightly.

Anyway, if I tally things up correctly, that does make Lori our winner this go around.
Good Job Lori, shake those tail feathers missy and keep all those awesome recipes and pictures coming.

I am so proud of all of us, I have some real challenges in the months to come, so as you are losing body weight, we don't want to lose brain cells. Some of us might have some damaged ones anyway, and i am not saying any names.

Just a note: When you go to the store, movies, etc, don't park right up front, park as far back in the parking lot as you can. The walk will do you good.

GOOD JOB LOSERS,
LETS KEEP THIS GOING.

SUSAN

  2. Wow! That's awesome! Now watch out, Kristy just bought another walking dvd with a pedometer. She did 4 miles today and is getting motivated. As far as the weight loss goes I think our group needs to keep the pace up and try to lose 100 pounds this month.

  3. Oops. That last comment was by me, not Kristy. I need to make sure I am logged in instead of her when I post.

  5. By my math, that's 10lbs per person with 10 folks playing. I'll have to do 2-a-days sometimes, but I think I can get there. Good luck to all

  6. OK, I was slacking off the last couple of days. But since you young punks threw down the challenge, I'm going to give it a go. I did 3 miles this morning (Leslie Sansone, that perky @#%@&). Then I'm going to a dance group lesson and a practice dance session this afternoon and a rockin' nightclub-style dance party tonight.

However, old lady metabolism being what it is, the weight is coming off a bit slower this time around.

Anyhoo, let's see how the young punks (Chris, Todd, Jason, etc) do against the "mature" women (that would be me, Susan, Jill, Janet, anyone else who claims that distinction - Lori and Kristy can decide where their loyalties lie). I use the term "mature" loosely.

    Bring it on!!

  7. oh, it is SO on! I did the 5 mile DVD (Leslie Sansone) and Collin did the first mile with me and Trace did the entire thing with me (albeit a little slower pace than me). It used a stretchy thing, weights, and (Jerri) the "contraption" with the rubber hose things that you pull. I was pulling on it and it broke. Bummer. I went to Krogers today and the kids had a cookie and I did not!!! But, I have to say that I really really wanted one though. I am fixing baked salmon tonight with brown rice, hope it is edible.

Great great job and I LOVE this blog Susan and especially the bantering of the punks vs. the women.

    Love,
    Kristy

  8. The punks vs. the women! I love it. What a great way to motivate a "mature" woman.
Bob and I went to the movies tonight and I did NOT have popcorn. How do you like them apples? I will try very hard to not let the mature women down these next few weeks. When is the next weigh in, Susan?
