Wow, we sure got some great entries for the ' Weight, its a Poem!!!" contest. I am so proud of everyone who participated.
Now its time for the voting. We can only have one winner.
Here are the voting rules:
You can only vote 1 time.
You cannot vote for yourself.
We have at least 11 members, we must get at least 9 of us to vote. So, that means, all you less active blog participants, you must exercise your fingers and get out and vote. So, everyone harrass the less active participants, anyway you want to.
The one who has the most votes wins the poetry prize.
I hope everyone is remembering to get out and move it, move it. Remember, Todd gave us a challenge about a week ago, we cannot forget it. So, lets get to moving everyone and try to make or beat Todd's challenge. Keep up the good work.
Get up and vote and move it Losers
Later Losers,
oh, the votes have to be in my Monday evening.
bye for now losers,
susan

So, do we post our vote here for the world to see or do we email you, Susan?
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be a very hard choice!
Just vote online here on the blog. No one will get their feelings hurt and if they do, well, thats one less calorie that they have lost. One feeling gone. So,everyone, its all in fun. Lets see who the winner is.
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for
Kristy-----1
Sorry, I want my vote to be secret. I'll email you.
ReplyDeleteAll secret votes automatically go to me, I want another South Carolina lotto ticket to scratch off! I vote for my aunt Susan's poem but if I could i would vote for my own. Whaaaaat! Yeah, you heard me. I am darn proud of that poem. hey I can now say I am a published poet. My poem was published to the entire world when I clicked "post comment" last night after writing that poem. By the way is there a poem style or word for poems which ahve questions in them like I wrote? besides awesome of corse do they have a name?
ReplyDeleteOk so now go look on my blog, I am about to give you an awesome update on my weekend. By the way I was just joking on this post, so save the hate mail and go eat some more chocolate.
and no wise cracks about my typo's either.
ReplyDeleteAll the poems were awesomely awesome. But, if I am forced to choose one, I'll choose Susan's. Those "Grandpa White" dimples are few and far between in our family and need to be protected.
ReplyDeleteOkay losers,
ReplyDeleteThis is not working, here's the vote so far,
Susan-2
Kristy-1
Todd-1
I cannot win, I am the moderator of this game, so I should have said that anyone other than me can be voted for, so, whoever voted for me, well, change your votes to someone else and try to get others to get out and vote too. We need to get more of our fellow losers to answer up on this blog.
Come on losers, get to moving,
Susan
Ah, well, Susan. You made the original rules and I'm stickin' to them. My vote stands and I'm not changing it. So there. And I guess everyone now knows that I voted for Todd. Go poets!
ReplyDeleteOh, and Todd, the two line poem is called a couplet.
Looks to me like Susan is the winner, right folks? The voting was to end Monday night, so the others who could have voted lost their chance.
I don't remember Susan recusing herself from the beginning - she posted the first poem, right? So my vote stands as well.
ReplyDeleteSorry for just now checking this, probably too late, but my vote is for Todd for whatever it may or may not be worth:)
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteWe got 9"of snow here in Westfield and Jill got a foot!!!! It's sooo pretty.
Hey, Susan, when are you going to concede and name the winner?? I believe it's you, unless you count Kristy's late vote, then it's a tie between you and Todd.
