I would like to hear from everyone about what makes them mad, I mean really mad!!!!!
One thing that makes me really mad is this computer, anyway, be sort of nice about it, lets not get all down and dirty.
Maybe if we air out all our madness, we will all lose another few pounds. Its worth a try,

What makes me mad....hmmmmm. It makes me mad when people tell me no, you can't do that, and I KNOW that I can do it. For example, last month at the good ol'e P.O. I applied for a renewal passport. I brought with me the form instructions (which I read every word of twice) and the other nessesary stuff. I had a COPY of my marriage license with the offical seal and signed by our pastor. The lady at the P.O. says, nope, we can't send this it's a copy, you need the original. I kindly said, "It says here on YOUR FORM that it can be a copy if these conditions are met". I had underlined the met conditions on the instructions and showed it to her. She then says, no, it won't go through you need the original that is how I have always done it. After the 3rd time of explaining this to her, I said with a bit of annoyance, "I will take my chances, just send the thing anyways". ....And what do you know, my new passport arrived last week, just like I knew it would. So, when I went to the P.O. today to buy stamps, (the lady I delt with who "served" me if you want to call it that was not there today, too bad) I told them all humbly (but secretely proudly, smugly, and I will not lie I desperately wanted to say I TOLD YOU SO!) about the situation and in fact the request went through and alas I got my passport. The other two girls looked at each other and said, "we would have sent it, that's fine." While it wasn't necessary to tell them I had gotten it, I did feel better telling them I was right. Todd are you surprised?!?!?!

ReplyDeleteDaylight Savings Time makes me mad! I hate it and I hate Eastern Standard Time. It makes absolutely no sense that we are on the same time as Maine and Vermont, but not the same time as Illinois. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I was just starting to enjoy driving to work in the daylight and now I'm back to the dark side. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

The customer service at McDonalds (or any other fast-food place). I don't go there very often, but everytime I do, I always say I am never going to go back. What is wrong with me? I pay money to be treated like an inconvenience and an irritation. Geez! Actually, I think I am going to boycott all the places I have received poor customer service in the last month. I think it is safe to say, we won't be hitting any drive thrus for a while :)
ReplyDeleteYou want to know what makes me mad? I'm standing in line at Target and a cashier says to me and the customer behind me - "I'm opening another line, so come on down". I'm thinking "su-weet!!". But the asshat behind me tools on around so HE can be first in line. Now, that's rude. But I don't say anything until he leaves and then the cashier and I decide we are superior people to put up with that kind of nonsense, because we know his life must be truly miserable if he has to cut in line at Target. Ok, I'm done - time for coffee and Bailey's.

ReplyDeleteActually I have a few more things that really make me mad, I hate it when someone pronounces our last name wrong, even when you have told them how to pronounce it,if they just insist on saying it wrong then I answer them back with their own name and I deliberately pronounce it wrong just to get under their skin.I also hate that no matter how I tweak my resume or an application, the morons around here cannot seem to give me a chance. I have talked to so many people,they keep hiring and firing others, but won't give me a chance. This area really sucks big time because of that, I get so mad.Well, let me get back to more productive things, like celebrating Miss M's birthday. Our kid is 18 today. Geez!!!!!!
