okay and the final question:
Eighteen people stood in three queues in the post office. One third were in the first queue: and of those remaining, two thirds were in the second queue: and the rest were in the third queue. All were waiting to buy first class stamps, second class stamps and each also wanted an additional item. Every queue consisted of equal numbers of men and women, with each man standing directly behind a woman.
Everyone wanted exactly the same number of first class stamps as their position in the queue. Any man in any queue who wanted fewer than five first class stamps also wanted three second class stamps. Any woman who wanted more than four first class stamps also wanted two second class stams. Everyone else wanted just one second class stamp.
Of the women, all of those who wanted a total of fewer than six stamsp also wanted to buy a TV stamp: and any who wanted a total of more than eight stamps also wanted to buy a birthday card.
Of the men, all those who wanted a total of fewer than six stamps also wanted to buy a birthday card and any who wanted a total of more than eight stamps also wanted to buy a TV stamp.
Of everyone else remaining, one man in each queue wanted to buy a packet of envelopes. All of those still remaining ( if any) wanted to buy postcards.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WANTED POSTCARDS?
okay, losers, So, the person who gets the most right will win the prize and i do hope that we have some good feedback on this quiz.
Come on losers, lets see if our brain matter is still intact. Don't want to lose that.
